It means that they don’t really care what we talk about, they just want to talk to me.

Pretend it’s poem. Memorize it line by line. Kinetic learning works pretty well for me, so for my spanish final last year, I walked in circled in my kitchen saying a poem one line until I had it down. Then added in a second until I had it down. And a third. Etc, etc, etc.

Raindrops - Backseat Goodbye
Go ahead and cry. If we weren’t meant to, we wouldn’t be able to. Right? Right.
There’s only so long that something can be walked over. So step lightly, footsteps can be oh so deadly.
Let’s make like stars and fall.

…I’ll taste your strawberries, I’ll drink your sweet wine. A million tomorrows shall all pass away. Ere I’ll forget all the joys that are mine… Today.
Another song that tends to make me cry when I think about it and everything that has happened revolving around that song and how it has played a part in my life. Well, that song and many others from a book that lays next to my bed.
I started reading a book today that I have wanted to read for awhile now. The Perks of Being a Wallflower. You may have heard of it, you may have read it, you may not care. Yeah, probably don’t care. But anyways. The main character, Charlie, talks about how he cries and he can’t help it. How he is happy and sad at the same time. How things that people normally wouldn’t find depressing make him sad or upset. It’s one of those books that you read and so easily relate to, and before you know it, you’re 100 pages into it in one sitting. Which is what just happened to me, of course.
It’s strange how you can have a bad turn of events, but then at the end of the day, you feel like it was actually enjoyable. Feels.. wonderful, as a matter of fact.
I guess that’s what a hot shower followed by curling up in a cozy bed with a good book after a miserable day up on the hill can do to you.
